To do an analysis in SOURCE you need to import operational and FRF data.

For a smoother procedure, we recommend importing the FRF data first and the operational data later. This will save you some steps when you will have to map the channels.

(**) For channels and reference channels information, you can include a .bdf file.

Importing FRF Data

To do an analysis in SOURCE you need to import the FRF data of the component.

You can import FRF data in two ways:

  1. (a) Click on +,
  2. (a) Browse for the data

or

  1. (b) Drag and drop the data in the FRF Data card

Importing FRF data

Importing a DIRAC Project

You can directly import a DIRAC project in SOURCE either by dragging and dropping it or by browsing for it. By doing this you will be able to access additional functionalities.

In the import dialog you can:

  1. Select the desired FRF Matrices, time data, and Geometries
  2. Decide to create or auto-map master channels
  3. Change the channels type in the description

DIRAC file importer

You can directly import a DIRAC project in SOURCE either by dragging and dropping it or by browsing for it. By doing this you will get additional functionalities, such as the possibility to import geometries, time data, and edit the channels type and their mapping.

In the import dialog you can:

  • Select the desired FRF Matrices, time data, and Geometries
  • Decide to create or auto-map master channels
  • Change the channels type in the description

Importing Operational Data

To analyze your operational data, you need to import them into SOURCE. You can import multiple operational data at once.

You can import operational data in two ways:

  1. (a) Click on +,
  2. (a) Browse for the data

or

  1. (b) Drag and drop the data in the Operational Data card

Importing operational data

When importing the operational data, you can decide whether the channels should be “auto-mapped” to the master channels. If there are no master channels, they will be automatically created from the dataset. You can change this setting in the Preferences.

When importing ATFX files, SOURCE will try to rebuild the project hierarchy to match the way the data was organized in the original application. You can change this setting in the Preferences.
