3.1 Managing libraries

The philosophy behind COUPLE consists in allowing engineers to collect all their models in one place, and use them multiple times and in different configurations according to their needs. Some components (e.g. bushings) get used multiple times in one assembly or even re-used in different variants through the years. We do not want you to lose time looking for them in old folders or having to import all the datasets again and again. For this reason, we have created what we call Libraries, in which you can store all your datasets and easily search, categorize and filter them. You can save multiple libraries in COUPLE and activate and deactivate them according to your current needs. And finally, you can easily share libraries with your colleagues.
