Since the first of December 2021, Jelle Zult joined the VIBES team to work as a Software Engineer R&D. Below he gives more information about himself and his role at VIBES.
Hi there, my name is Jelle, and I’m happy to have arrived here at VIBES, after having spent some time in far away places like Brazil and Enschede. Now I am living in Haarlem, which is much closer to my roots.
I really enjoy making music. I’ve been playing guitar since I was a kid, and recently expanded to other instruments, song writing and recording as well. Many of my good friends today I’ve met through music.
In Enschede I studied at the University of Twente, where I completed both my BSc in Advanced Technology and my MSc in Systems and Control. Afterwards I found my first job as a software engineer at Bond3D, an innovative 3D printing company in Enschede. Working in software was a bit of a career switch to me at that point, but it had always secretly interested me a lot more than I could justify.
Next to that I decided I wanted to experience living abroad. I wanted to find out what it would be like to reset my life, in a place that is completely different from what I was used to. This brought me to Brazil, where I spent half a year working at a distance, living as a so-called ‘digital nomad’.
At VIBES, I am part of the Software Development team. I aim to make good contributions to our software products by combining my engineering knowledge with my passion for coding.
