Solution

Test-based Modelling

With Test-based Modelling you can model frequency response behavior of passive components or systems using test data from use in subsequent analyses.

Explore Test-based Modelling

Test-based Modelling allows for modeling the frequency response behavior of passive components or systems using accurate test data. You can create structural dynamical models with complete interface descriptions, identify robust structural-acoustic transfer functions, and extract mass, center of gravity, and inertia (MCI) properties for subsequent analyses. Furthermore, you can identify accurate 6-DoF dynamic stiffness of rubber mounts and use Hybrid Modular Modelling to combine test-based and numerical models to obtain frequency response functions of complex assemblies. The following workflows and software unlock the full potential of this solution.

Virtual Point FRF Modelling

Easily create high-accuracy and cost-effective structural dynamical models of components with a complete interface description for easy inclusion in FEA or TPA through sub-structuring.

Advanced NTF Measurement

Make robust structural-acoustic transfer functions using virtual points.

Mount Stiffness Identification

Rich 6-DoF and accurate dynamic stiffness identification of rubber mounts in the kilohertz range, to optimize design modification predictions.

Mass, Cog and Inertia (MCI) identification

Extract mass and inertia properties from free-free suspended structures for use in subsequent analyses (e.g., for multibody dynamic simulation for example driving dynamics).

Hybrid Modular Modelling of FRFs

Hybrid Modular Modelling of FRFs involves combining test-based and numerical models to obtain frequency response functions of (complex) assemblies.
