Meet our new Software Engineer: Efstathios Pantazis

This August, Stathis joined our team as Software Engineer to help further develop our products. We asked Stathis some questions to introduce himself.
About me
Hello, my name is Stathis Pantazis and I am from Greece. I was born in 1993 and live in Utrecht, Netherlands. In my free time you will most likely find me playing music, chess or having a cold beer with a few friends.
About my background and education
I finished my bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications at the Athens University of Economics and Business, but everything changed when I wrote a few lines of Python code to create a mini game at the age of 24. Went to a coding bootcamp, studied for hours and finally found my passion in Software Development.
In the past, I worked for a Hotel Software company and also developed the Web Applications of two Startups, one revolving around Dental Tourism and the other, which was qualified for the International 2020 CEBEX Conference in Prague, is an app based on the main principles of psycholinguistics that produces slogans and brand names for businesses.
What do you do at VIBES?
As a Software Engineer at VIBES I will contribute to expanding and enriching the existing DIRAC and SOURCE functionalities, but also join in the development of the exciting new line of VIBES products.
