10.3 Results

Computing results

To compute the analysis, within the Analyses card, you have to:

  1. Click on the small calculator on the right of the analysis.

Computing an analysis

When the analysis is finished, the results will appear in the Results tab of the Inputs/Results card. Switch this card to Results to review them.

Plotting the results and inputs

After computing an analysis, you can plot the results.

To plot the results, complete the next steps:

  1. Click on Results.
  2. Right-click on the dataset to plot.
  3. Select Plot.
  4. Select the plot type.

You can also plot inputs by clicking on Inputs, and following the instructions above.

You can easily manage the data in your plots (instructions) and edit the settings and style of the plots (instructions).

Managing the results

For large projects with several operational runs and/or TPA computations, the results section can quickly become unwieldy. For this reason, in SOURCE it is possible to sort the data either by filtering them or selecting the needed ones, thanks to some additional parameters.

Filtering the results

To manage large datasets, you can filter the data that will be visualized in the Results panel. In particular, you can choose to filter the Analysis or the Type of data.

To filter the datasets, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Results.
  2. Click on the small key that appears when hovering on top of Analysis or Type.  A new window will appear.
  3. Select the data you want to visualize in the Results panel.

Visualizing dataset parameters

In the Results panel, you can visualize different parameters for each dataset. In particular, you can choose between:

  • Name: the name of result.
  • Cycle: the name of the operational dataset.
  • Segment: the name of the segment (if applicable).
  • Partial: the name of the partial contribution (if applicable).
  • Characterization FRF: the name of the FRF used for force characterization (e.g. for In-situ).
  • Synthesis FRF: the FRF used for TPA synthesis.
  • Dataset Type: the type of dataset (e.g. Frequency Blocks).
  • Size: the size of the dataset (channels and blocks).
  • Range: the frequency range.

To visualize one or more parameters, complete the next steps:

  1. Go to Results.
  2. Click on the 3 dots at the top right of the Results page.
  3. Select the parameter(s).

Pages

To have a better overview of your results and plots, you can organize them into multiple pages.

Adding pages

To create a new page, complete the next steps:

  1. Click on the (+) button at the top right of the Graphs card.

Renaming pages

To rename a page, complete the next steps:

  1. Right-click on the page.
  2. Select Rename.
  3. Type the desired name.
  4. Press Enter.
